Carlos Alcaraz enjoyed a dream Sunday after winning Wimbledon and then watching his compatriots beat England in the Euro 2024 final.
And the 21-year-old Spaniard was all smiles as he danced with Ladies champion Barbora Krejcikova in the annual Wimbledon Champions’ Dinner.

Alcaraz became the quickest man to win four Grand Slam titles by beating Novak Djokovic once again in the final at SW19.
His delight at a second Wimbledon crown soon turned into fright after being reminded he will have to take part in the traditional dance.
Former tennis star and BBC presenter Annabel Croft interviewed Alcaraz after his straight-sets victory, where she asked him about his dancing skills.

To which he squirmed by rubbing his face, before saying: “Let’s say, could be better I guess. Yeah, let’s see tonight, but I try to do my best.”

Footage has since gone viral of Alcaraz and Krejcikova on the dance floor, where they moved to Dua Lipa’s hit 2023 song ‘Dance the Night’.

At one point, Alcaraz – donning a stylish tuxedo – was seen giving the two-time Grand Slam champion a twirl towards the end of their routine.
Fans have been quick to comment on social media, as they light heartedly joked about the moment, with one X user writing: “Most awkward dance ever.”

It was all in good fun, as another messaged: “I can’t look, it’s too uncomfortable! Got the moves? Maybe on the tennis court Carlos but not on the dance floor.”

A third quipped: “He definitely has more rhythm on the tennis court!”
This fan then posted: “This is simultaneously so awkward and so cute.”

Meanwhile another simply stated: “That young man needs dancing lessons!”
Alcaraz is a much-loved player who is part of the new generation of tennis stars.
And while the popular champion’s dancing may leave little to be desired, 2022 Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios believes he is the future of tennis.
Speaking on BBC commentary of his win over Djokovic, the Australian said: “I think this is the official changing of the guard.”

Last year, Alcaraz had battled to a five-set win but this time dominated the previously dominant Djokovic in front of royalty, celebrities and Emma Raducanu, whom he was asked a pointed question about afterwards.
Having won Wimbledon and the French Open so far, he goes into the Olympics as favourite to win singles gold.
The player’s coach, though, vowed he will stay humble as trophies and prize money continue to rack up.
Juan Carlos Ferrero told the PA news agency: “It’s absolutely impressive. I think it’s one of the difficult things that Carlos has just done.

“It’s impressive to have these kind of important tournaments and we only try to keep calm, stay humble and keep working.”
And the young Spaniard has added a new tournament to his schedule as it was revealed he will make his debut at the Rotterdam Open in 2025.
The current champion, on the indoor hard court, is Jannik Sinner, the other star of the new era and reigning Australian Open champion.
