Onboard footage of Max Verstappen’s collision with Lewis Hamilton has emerged online.

Max Verstappen’s onboard footage of his controversial collision with Lewis Hamilton in the Hungarian Grand Prix has emerged and it’s got F1 fans talking.
Oscar Piastri took his maiden grand prix victory in a McLaren one-two ahead of Lando Norris in a dramatic race in Hungary last weekend.
Behind them, old rivals Verstappen and Hamilton collided as they were battling over third place.
Hamilton eventually claimed third place while Verstappen dropped back to fifth as fans spotted their exchange following the race.

A clip of the Dutch driver’s onboard footage has since emerged, and it’s got fans online talking.

One X user wrote: “When you see it at this speed, VER additional steering had nothing to do with escaping HAM – there was no evasive manoeuvre. It was overspeed, he then tried to turn for the corner & locked up.”
A second tweeted: “Braking at the same point at the inside is late compared to braking at that point on the outside. He’s got a much tighter line and needs to be slower to make the corner.”
A third added: “Right but the stewards almost used this reasoning in support of max not overshooting the corner. Like they completely forgot that he was going 20-25mph faster than the non DRS entry lol.”
A fourth said: “You can’t break at the same point if you’re going too fast and not on the racing line. Doesn’t really excuse it at all imo.”

Another commented: “Max was too busy raging to be able to drive the car properly. He divebombed and was never going to be making the corner, Lewis taking his usual line into that turn wasn’t a factor in the contact.”
