Paige Spiranac Forgives Sexist Haters as She Drops 7-Word Admission About Beating Social Media Hurdles
As much as Paige Spiranac has gained fame, she has received criticism from the community tenfold. Time and again, the 31-year-old former golfer has been subjected to sexist condemnation. Everyone argued that she was just a ‘pretty face‘ and did not have any proper golf career. As a reply, she has taken several steps in the past such as becoming a golf influencer and sharing golf knowledge, but this time she has spoken loud and clear.

In an interview with Fox Business, Paige Spiranac revealed how she was extremely sensitive at the beginning of her brand-making journey. The public criticism on top of that was simply not easy. However, the female golfer pushed everything aside and took a stand for herself. She revealed, “I realized I had to step back and do a lot of work on myself to make sure that I was confident in who I was and that I was creating the brand I wanted to create. Over the years, I have realized that it’s OK.” Then she stated her seven-word statement. “People are allowed to have their opinions.”
Accepting the fact that Spiranac would not be able to satisfy or go according to everybody’s opinions at the same time, she chose to believe in herself. Besides building more confidence, the female golfer also chose to believe in the positivity of people, which often goes unnoticed.

She thus confessed, “I honestly think that even sometimes, although it can come off as criticism or hateful, I don’t think a lot of people actually truly mean it in that way. I think, in some way, they’re trying to be helpful. So, even if I get a comment that criticizes me, I try to hear it out because maybe I can learn from it, I can better myself, or I can adjust.”
