Golf influencer Paige Spiranac was scheduled to play a celebrity charity match with PGA Tour veteran John Daly, which was billed as “Beauty vs. the Beast” at the Geneva National Golf Club in Wisconsin, USA on Monday. However, the two-time major winner ditched the social media star as the no-show Daly was replaced by pro golfer Jerry Kelly.

The charity event boasted a number of different elements with the tickets ranging from $15 to $105 while the VIP reception cost fans $155, per destinationgn.com. Paige also revealed that her match against Kelly raised “a ton of money for charity.”

Former golf professional and current influencer, Paige took to her Twitter handle and revealed Daly didn’t show up for the match and talked about her round with Kelly. She wrote, “Today was supposed to be my match against John Daly. When he didn’t show, Jerry Kelly filled in. Jerry made 10 birdies and 2 eagles today. It was the greatest round of golf I’ve ever witnessed. We raised a ton of money for charity and I’m not too mad with the 66 I shot. What a great day at Geneva National!”
Later in the afternoon, Paige Spiranac hosted a pool party at Hooters titled ‘Paige’s Par-Tee.’ Hooters also revealed their new Daly-inspired menu that includes “Big John’s Dogs”, a hot dog based on Daly, which will cost $8.99 and come with a side of waffles or curly fries.

John Daly has had an impressive career as a golfer as he won the 1991 PGA Championship and the 1995 Open Championship, on the other hand, has been a part of the Ladies European Tour and the Cactus Tour, however, she shifted from being a pro player to social media influencer. Daly’s replacement Jerry Kelly has won the PGA Tour thrice and cashed over $29 million throughout his career.
