Tiger Woods’ golf apparel brand, Sun Day Red, launched a new line on Thursday, August 15. Woods shared the promotional video on his Instagram Stories while the brand posted it on all of its social media profiles.
The new Sun Day Red line is called the ‘Training Collection’ and includes clothing suitable for sports training. The promotional video features star college quarterback Justin Lamson of the Stanford Cardinal (Tiger Woods’ alma mater).Watch the video below:
The Training Collection is available now on Sun Day Red’s official website. The collection includes six items: Training Shorts ($100), Training Crew ($200), Training Hoodie ($225), Training Full Zip Hoodie ($250), Training T-Shirt ($75) and Training Dry Hoodie ($135).Tiger Woods launched the Sun Day Red brand last February during the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club. The launch came weeks after Woods ended his long-standing sponsorship with the Nike brand.Sun Day Red covers all types of golf apparel, from hats to trousers and shorts to wear on the course. The brand also sells rainy-day apparel in a variety of colors to match what Woods has regularly worn throughout his career.
What’s next for Tiger Woods?
Tiger Woods’ 2024 season ended when he missed the cut at the Open Championship. Woods has said he does not plan to play again until December when he will join the field at the Hero World Challenge in Albany, an event he sponsors.However, the PGA Tour season is a year-round affair, ending with the TOUR Championship in August and resuming with the FedEx Cup Fall in September. With that in mind, Woods could find a way to play in one of the tournaments during this period, although it is highly unlikely.

As a result, Woods is unlikely to play on the PGA Tour until next season. He currently hasn’t qualified for the first tournament of the year (The Sentry), which is also the first Signature Event of the season. The 15-time Major winner would need a sponsor’s exemption to play in Hawaii.What will certainly keep Woods’ schedule busy is his work as Player Director on the PGA Tour Policy Board. Negotiations continue with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Wood is right in the thick of it. So much so, in fact, that he declined to captain the American team for the 2025 Ryder Cup.
Looking ahead to the 2025 season, Woods could start his season at the Genesis Invitational, an event he hosts. This would be in line with what he said at the start of the current season about following a schedule with a monthly tournament.That would leave Woods playing only the four Major championships and other sporadic tournaments unless he changes his approach for next season.
