Paige Renee Spiranac, statements
Named “the beautifull woman alive” by Maxim magazine, she will face off against 15 other creators. “Although I’m nervous about playing a tournament again, I’m still proud of this opportunity.
The goal is to have fun,” Spiranac said. In 2010, Spiranac began playing golf. Among other things, she took part in the “CWGA Junior Stroke Play”, which earned her a sports scholarship. At the University of Arizona and San Diego State University, she developed into a professional athlete, where she won five of seven competitions during her studies – which she completed at the age of 22 with a degree in communications -; the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown was one of them.
Her first sporting highlight was winning the 2016 Cactus Tour. In the 2011/12 season, she took part in the following competitions: “Windy City Intercollegiate”, “Pac-12/SEC Challenge” and “Wildcat Invitational”. In the following season, she achieved fifth place at the “Cal Classic”, sixth place at the “Mountain West Championship” and 19th place at the “NCAA Central Regional Championships”.
In the 2013/14 season, she achieved a top 10 placement at the Mountain West Championship. Her peak came when she won the Cactus Tour in May 2016, where she was surprisingly defeated by Hannah O’Sullivan. Her placings worsened at Stallion Mountain (9th place), Aliante Golf Club (17th place), Walnut Creek (17th place) and CoBank Colorado Women’s Open (9th place).
2016 ended with a second place at Legacy (Arizona) and a top 5 placement at Trilogy. For health reasons, Spiranac began focusing on teaching and social media in 2017. Together with golf expert Amanda Rose, she runs the golf podcast Playing-A-Round.
She has 3.7 million followers on Instagram, 750,000 on Twitter and more than 300,000 on YouTube. In 2022, she was named “Beautifull Woman Alive” by Maxim magazine, the first female athlete ever. Spiranac has often been noticed primarily for her skimpy clothing; however, she simply wishes for recognition and equality for women in sport.
