Paige Spiranac recently shared the cons of getting golf lessons via her social media account. The former American golfer is very active on social media, where she often shares golf-related videos.
Recently, the SI model took to her Instagram account, where she has 4 million followers, to offer valuable advice. During a Q&A session with her followers, one fan asked her about getting golf lessons.In response, Spiranac explained that she is an “advocate” for getting lessons. However, she also acknowledged that it can initially affect a player’s performance, but once golfers become familiar with the changes, it becomes easier for them to improve their game.
Speaking about getting golf lessons, Spiranac said on her Instagram story:
“I am a huge advocate for getting lessons. A good golf instructor would be life-changing to your golf game. But I will say that there is always a period where you’re going to struggle after you make changes. And most people are willing to go through the struggle to make the changes, so they really never improve because they are worried about regressing before they can really progress.”
“And so, if you are going to invest in lessons, know that you are going to have swing changes making you uncomfortable, and you might not hit the ball as far for a little bit. But once you get used to those changes, you are going to hit the ball ten times better. You’ve got to be able to get through the hard times to be able to really play some great golf,” she added.

“Grateful for what I get to do”- Paige Spiranac on her content creation career
During her Q&A session, another fan asked about her journey as a professional content creator. Replying to the fan, Spiranac acknowledged that there are pros and cons to being a content creator.However, she stated that she loves her job and is “grateful”. Speaking of her content creation journey, Spiranac said on her story:
“There are pros and cons, but I am so incredibly lucky to do what I do. To have the platform that I have, to go to the places that I get to go, and the people I get to meet—I am so blessed to do this, and I try to remind myself that every single day. I am just creating content, and that is supposed to be fun and make people smile, and that’s what I love. I am not saving lives; I am not trying to change the world.”
“I think sometimes content creators can have self-inflated egos, feeling like they are so important or that they are celebrities and all these things. And that’s just not true. So I just try to keep myself very humble and be grateful for what I get to do. I keep perspective and always push myself to be more creative and to put out content that you guys like, and that makes my job amazing. I can wake up every single day motivated to do this because I just love this so much and know that I have a great job,” she added.

Paige Spiranac played professional golf after graduating from San Diego State University in 2015. She competed on the Cactus Tour during the early days of her career, where she won one event.
Spiranac defeated then-top-ranked amateur player Hannah O’Sullivan in 2016 to win her first and only professional event. She later attempted to qualify for the LPGA Tour by competing in the qualifying tournament but struggled with her game and did not earn a tour card.However, later Spiranac eventually switched career paths, transitioning to modeling and content creation, and has achieved success in the field. She was featured on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and was named the ‘Sexiest Woman Alive’ by Maxim in 2022.
