Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian recently took their elder daughter Olympia to Simone Biles’ ‘Gold Over America’ tour. The trio enjoyed their time at the show, and Olympia even got a chance to meet Biles afterward, fans were quick to comment on the height difference, or lack thereof between the tennis star’s daughter and Biles.
Both Williams and Ohanian have been outspoken fans of Simone Biles over the years. Most recently, the Reddit co-founder invited the gymnast to his Athlos track meet, which Biles was unable to attend due to her tour schedule.As the Olympic champion couldn’t make it to New York for Athlos, the Williams household then headed to her ‘Gold Over America’ show in Florida. Alexis Ohanian posted pictures from their trip, writing,\
“I had to take S & Jr to see @Simone_Biles’ Gold Over America Tour. Packed house. Awesome night. Don’t miss it if they’re coming to your town. 🥇🥇🥇 And thank you Simone and Jordan Chiles. for absolutely making Olympia’s MONTH.”
In the photos, as Biles and Olympia pose side-by-side, the two look almost the same height, leading to a fan asking,
“Is it an optical illusion, or is Olympia really almost as tall as Simone Biles?”
Ohanian responded to this by joking about his height, saying
“Jr’s got a talllll papa.”

Serena Williams and Simone Biles are legends in their sports, and there is nothing but love between the two. In a 2016 interview with Fader, Williams opened up on her thoughts about Biles as well as swimmer Simone Manuel, calling time ‘amazing’.
Williams emphasized her respect for the gymnast’s maturity, saying,
“I think all of the women are so poised. I really find them so amazing, especially Biles. Her comments, her performance, I feel like she’s 35 years old, mentally. She’s just so incredible. If anything, I wish I could be like her when I was younger. It could be that society’s changed and there are so many things that are different now.”
Biles is similarly in awe of Williams and recently stated that she’d pick the 43-year-old for her tennis doubles partner if she ever got the choice.Serena Williams and Simone Biles are both two of the most decorated athletes of all time. Williams holds a combined 39 major titles, while Biles has won a total of 30 World Championships medals and 11 Olympic medals.
