With Golf Comeback Imminent, Paige Spiranac’s ‘World Series’ Tease Leaves Fans Drooling
Is Paige Spiranac’s baseball fandom genuine, or just another way to keep fans guessing?
Paige Spiranac is undoubtedly one of the most influential figures in golf. Apart from having 4 million followers on Instagram, she also has her podcast called ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee.’ However, it has been on hold for some time now. His last episode was released on December 28, 2023. ‘Year End Recap & 2024’ practically was the story of her journey last year and what she had in store for this season.
But she did not come up with any other episode after that, despite being active on social media. And well, it did not go unnoticed. Her fans have been curious about her comeback, and it looks like it is finally there. In one of her Q&A sessions, someone asked, “Will your podcast come back?” And Spiranac affirmed its airing “podcast will be back at some point.” Hours after confirming a new episode, Spiranac has managed to leave the fans surprised with her new post.
Well, the MLB World Series between the Yankees and the Dodgers is ongoing, and the battle has almost reached its ultimate peak in a titanic showdown. Game 1 concluded just a few hours ago. And well, to everyone’s surprise, it turns out Spiranac too is a baseball fan. She took to her official X account and shared a picture of herself in a sporty co-ord and captioned it, “In honor of game 1 of the World Series big baseball girl.”

On June 16, 2023, Spiranac threw out one of the ceremonial first pitches before the Brewers game. While Spiranac already has a huge fan base, due to her breaking the norms of being a female golfer all the time, she looks like a baseball fan too, which left the entire Internet community completely baffled.

On one hand, the LA Dodgers have a white jersey with blue colored prints on it, along with their team and players’ names; the New York Yankees have a blue and white striped jersey with the names of the players printed on the back. Now generally, when someone is supporting a team, they wear a replica of the team’s jersey. However, Spiranac wore a red and white striped co-ord, which was rather confusing as to who she was supporting.

Taking this, one of the fans wrote, “Shouldn’t you have picked one of the teams in the World Series to wear?” Another trying to contemplate the reason wrote, “Staying neutral, I see.”
While she chose the design of the Yankees, it turns out the number 33 printed on her pants might be a rather symbol from the Dodgers team. They have introduced the number 34 along with retired player Fernando Valenzuela’s name and jersey number on it. Her number might have been a close representation of that. However, it once again left the fans wondering. One of them commented, “Is that number 33”.
