“Amazing operation”: Emma Raducanu volunteers at food poverty initiative
Emma Raducanu volunteers to support food poverty initiative in the UK. Former World No. 10 Emma Raducanu dedicated her free time to volunteering at a community centre combating food poverty. The initiative, led by Surplus to Supper, redistributes food destined for waste but still fit for consumption to food banks.
The organisation also runs an internal kitchen that “creates nutritious meals for those who need them most” and hosts a weekly market and various community events.
In the photos, world no. 58 is seen cheerfully handing out food to the community. The 2021 US Open champion shared her volunteering experience on social media: “@surplusstosupper thank you for letting me come by, an amazing operation.”

Raducanu is enjoying her off-season after her most recent appearance in the Billie Jean King Cup, where she helped Great Britain reach the semi-finals. The 22-year-old player won her singles matches against Viktoria Hruncakova, but the team couldn’t advance after Boulter lost her singles match, and Slovakia secured the doubles clash.
“I think traditionally you’d probably have a bit of a break and take a holiday or something. But I feel like I have had four, five weeks off tennis, and I don’t really need any more time off,” she said recently in Malaga. “If anything, I’m excited and just itching to get on the practice court, and of course seeing some of my performances this week, it just incentivises me to do more work.”

I believe the author had good intentions in comparing Sinner and Swiatek as two similar cases handled by the ITIA. But i must add Clostebol and Swiatek’s TPZ are two completely different animals. Trimetazidine directly enhances energy efficiency and cardiovascular performance. Astonishing news this.

Would surprise me if Queen Zheng gets to the AO2025 Final. I expect a dip for China’s No.1 export product.

Who is making up these rankings btw?

Paolini remarkably low. Must have won tons of matches against lower ranked players. Kind of like these rankings. Seem to be more fair.
