Novak Djokovic hired Andy Murray as his coach in November.

Do not fear Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray is still in one piece.
One day after Djokovic jokingly advised his new coach not to get injured on his skiing holiday before flying to Melbourne for the Australian Open, Murray responded in typically good-humoured nature on Instagram.
“I’m taking on some huge slopes as you can see but no injuries just yet 😂”, wrote Murray alongside a video of him skiing over a not-so-steep mound of snow.

Djokovic and Murray were great rivals on the court for the best part of 20 years, but their friendship has always remained strong. Djokovic’s announcement that he had hired Murray as his coach for the start of the 2025 season has intrigued fans, who became so used to seeing the pair on opposite sides of one of tennis’ greatest Lexus ATP Head2Head rivalries.
Having spent 10 days working with Djokovic in the off-season, Murray is enjoying some time off with his family before he heads to Australia. The Scot, who retired from playing last August, will coach his fellow former No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings on site at a tournament for the first time at the opening major of the year in Melbourne.
Before then, Djokovic will hope to have clinched his 100th tour-level title by triumphing at the Brisbane International presented by Evie. The record 24-time Grand Slam titlist faces Gael Monfils in the second round at the ATP 250 on Thursday. Djokovic finished last year with a 37-9 record according to the Infosys ATP Win-Loss Index.
