Martina Navratilova holds the record for the most WTA singles titles won, while Steffi Graf and Serena Williams are among the other tennis legends who feature on the list.
There are three women who have surpassed 100 titles, while seven have reached the 60 mark.
Here are the seven players who have won the most women’s singles recognised by the WTA in the Open Era.
7. Billie Jean King – 67
Billie Jean King, who turned professional in 1968 and retired in 1990, collected 67 of her singles titles in the Open Era.
The American won her first Open Era title at Wimbledon in 1968, while her last victory was at the 1983 Edgbaston Cup in Birmingham.
6. Evonne Goolagong – 68
Evonne Goolagong, who called time on her career in 1983, secured 68 of her singles titles at WTA-recognised events.
The Australian won her first WTA title in Southport in 1970, while her last-ever tournament triumph was at the 1980 Wimbledon Championships.

5. Serena Williams – 73
Serena Williams claimed 73 WTA singles titles during a professional career spanning from 1995 to 2022.
The American won her maiden title at the 1999 Open GDF Suez in Paris and lifted her final trophy at the 2020 Auckland Open.
4. Margaret Court – 92
Margaret Court, who played professionally between 1960 and 1977, won 92 of her career singles titles in the Open Era.
The Australian earned her first Open Era tournament victory at the 1968 London Hard Court Championships, while her last-ever title came at the 1976 Toyota Women’s Classic in Melbourne.
3. Steffi Graf – 107
Steffi Graf collected 107 WTA singles titles during a professional career spanning from 1982 to 1999.
The German picked up her maiden title in Hilton Head Island in 1986 and her final one at the French Open in 1999.
2. Chris Evert – 154
Chris Evert secured 157 singles titles during her career, having turned professional in 1972 and retired 1989.
