The Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers will face off on Monday Night Football to conclude Week 12 of the 2024 NFL season. Both teams currently hold one of the AFC Wild Card spots, so this will be an important matchup for the playoff picture this year. It also features plenty of potential options for fantasy football lineups, making the game even more intriguing.

Ravens vs Chargers prediction

Week 12 MNFWeek 12 MNF

The Los Angeles Chargers will enter Week 12 as one of the hottest teams in the NFL, having won all of their past four games. The Baltimore Ravens have cooled off in recent weeks, going just 2-2 in their past four games, so they will be looking to bounce back on Monday Night Football.

The Bolts have been sparked by Justin Herbert, who has broken out in recent weeks after a slow start to the 2024 season. He has scored multiple touchdowns in each of his past four games after turning in just one multi-touchdown effort across the first seven weeks of the season.

This could be key when he faces off against the Ravens, who currently rank last in defending the pass this year.

Both teams defend the run well and rank among the top defenses in doing so. While LA is also great against the pass, the Ravens’ poor passing defense could be the difference in this game.

With the game also being played in Los Angeles, this favors the home team to potentially win their fifth consecutive game.

Prediction: Chargers 27 – Ravens 23

Ravens vs Chargers fantasy outlook

The Ravens’ main offensive weapons has been the duo of Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. While they are not playing in an ideal matchup this week, their weekly dominance still makes them excellent options for fantasy football lineups. This makes both of them must-starts in Week 12.

Justin Herbert has been surging recently in fantasy football, including four consecutive finishes among the Top 12 weekly quarterbacks. He is also a must-start against the Ravens’ bottom-ranked passing defense.

Using this same logic, Will Dissly should also be started this week in a favorable matchup and having finished as the weekly TE8 or better twice in the past five weeks.

Where to watch Ravens vs Chargers on cable

Week 12’s Monday Night Football showdown between AFC playoff contenders is scheduled to kick off at 8:15 PM ET. The main broadcast will be televised on ABC and ESPN, with a Spanish broadcast on ESPN Deportes.

An alternative simulcast can also be viewed on ESPN2 with the ManningCast being available in Week 12. Peyton Manning and Eli Manning will be joined by guests to watch the game and discuss various topics.
