British tennis star Emma Raducanu is enjoying the offseason. After a whirlwind 2024 season that culminated in her impressive performance at the Billie Jean King Cup in Malaga, Spain, Raducanu recently savored the crisp British winter while keeping warm near a cozy fire pit.
Representing Great Britain at the prestigious Billie Jean King Cup, she defeated Germany’s Jule Niemeier and Canada’s Rebecca Marino in their respective group tie matches. Raducanu’s winning streak continued as she triumphed over Slovakia’s Viktoria Hruncakova in the semifinals.
Despite Raducanu’s stellar singles victory, Great Britain faced a tough defeat as they lost the subsequent singles and doubles matches, leading to their elimination from the tournament.
With her competitive commitments behind her, Raducanu took a moment to unwind and soak in the charm of the British winter. In a short clip shared on her Instagram stories this week, Raducanu was sitting near a fire pit, enjoying the serene ambiance of what appeared to be a cozy restaurant.

Emma Raducanu had some positive reflections on her past year on the WTA Tour in 2025, as she spoke about her desire to get on to the courts and described herself as a “dangerous player.”
Raducanu ended her season ranked World No. 59, after starting the year outside the top 300. The British tennis star suffered a foot injury during her Korea Open quarterfinal match in September, forcing her to take a two-month break before joining her British teammates for the Billie Jean King Cup in Spain.
In a recent interview with the WTA, Raducanu spoke about her goals for the upcoming season, expressing her hope for a healthy, injury-free year. She also reaffirmed her belief in her potential to be a formidable presence on the tour. Raducanu said,

“I’m excited and just itchy to get on the practice court, and of course seeing some of my performances this week, it just incentivizes me to do more work.
“My assessment is, I think sometimes I need reminding. I’m top 60 in the world and I have played less than 15 events, which is pretty unheard of, in a way. I have to pat myself on the back for that. I know I’m a dangerous player. I know no one wants to pull my name in the draw. I take pride in that, and I’m looking forward to hopefully staying on court longer next year.”
Emma Raducanu has already started her pre-season preparations. The British tennis star recently shared pictures sweating it out on the tennis courts.
