Australian Open 2025, Matches today: Defending women’s singles champion Aryna Sabalenka, last year’s runner-up Zheng Qinwen and Alexander Zverev, second seed in men’s singles, are in action on the opening day in Melbourne.

World No. 1 and defending champion Aryna Sabalenka faces former US Open winner Sloane Stephens on the opening day of Australian Open 2025 in Melbourne on Sunday.
China’s Zheng Qinwen, who lost to Sabalenka in last year’s final, is seeded fifth and faces Romanian qualifier Anca Todoni.
In men’s singles, second seed Alexander Zverev opens his campaign against French wildcard Lucas Pouille.
