“Dang sis” – Serena Williams, Khloe Kardashian and more celebrities can’t stop gushing over La La Anthony’s Tokyo family getaway
La La Anthony spent some time with her family, including her son Kiyan Anthony, in Japan recently. Anthony shared some candid photos from their trip on social media and several celebrities such as Serena Williams and Khloe Kardashian could not stop from gushing over it.
In a post on her official Instagram account, La La shared several images and clips from her Japan trip. It featured her son Kiyan, her brother Christian and one of her nephews. They seemed to enjoy their time there from going to shrines to eating strawberry tanghulu.Kiyan was wearing a Joe Burrow Cincinnati Bengals jersey that got the attention of several fans. The family also had some light katana training in what seemed like a samurai dojo.
“Tokyo has my heart,” La La wrote in her post.

Multiple celebrities commented on La La Anthony’s post on Instagram. Tennis star and legend Serena Williams, as well as socialite Khloe Kardashian, were in awe of the actress’ snapshots. Comedian Gary Owen loved Kiyan Anthony’s Bengals jersey since he’s a Cincinnati native.
“Dang sis.!” Williams wrote.
“Damn you really are killing it,” Kardashian replied.
“Yes ma’am I see your son rocking that Joe Burrow jersey!!! Smart kid,” Owen responded.

Other celebrities such as Cardi B, Winston Duke and Khadijah Haqq McCray reacted to La La Anthony’s Japan post. Cardi B really liked the fourth image from the post, a candid photo of La La with her son Kiyan.
“That 4th picture is sooooo cuteeeeee,” Cardi B commented.
“Incredible!!” Duke claimed.
“Dope,” McCray remarked.

La La Anthony shares advice she gave to his son Kiyan about fame
La La Anthony began her career in high school by hosting events and gigs before getting her big break in Hollywood. She knows a thing or two about fame, which is what his son Kiyan Anthony is starting to get due to his budding basketball career in high school.
Kiyan is the only son of La La and his ex-husband Carmelo Anthony. He’s one of the most popular high school players in the country, so her mother gave him some advice on how to deal with the fame that comes with being an athlete plus being the son of two celebrities.
“Don’t listen to negative comments. Just do what makes you happy. Just quiet the outside noise. I always tell him, ‘Quiet the outside noise. It’s not important,'” La La said in an exclusive interview with People Magazine.
Kiyan Anthony is currently an incoming senior in high school and is expected to be part of the 2026 NBA Draft Class. Kiyan has attracted interest from colleges such as his father’s alma mater Syracuse, Florida State, Arizona State, Bryant and Dayton.
