Serena Williams is at the Paris Olympics, not competing but supporting! However, this time she is not alone in the stands, but accompanied by her elder daughter, Olympia. But interestingly, the mother-daughter duo is not witnessing tennis glory but gymnastics! Williams and Olympia were spotted watching Simone Biles create history at the women’s gymnastics final.

Williams attended the women’s gymnastics team final in Paris, while her daughter Olympia perched on her lap. The 42-year-old tennis icon and her adorable daughter were present to watch a nail-biting match between two of the game’s titans, Simone Biles and Rebeca Andrade.

 

It wouldn’t be wrong, though, to state that spectators were enthralled with the American tennis legend and Olympia as they witnessed the artistic gymnastics team final. Meanwhile, Williams, with her iconic presence, looks intently focused on the action unfolding in front of her.

On the other hand, Olympia, sitting on her mother’s lap, mirrored her interest, appearing engaged and captivated by the event. In other pictures from the same event, the six-year-old was enjoying food while witnessing Biles creating history by winning her fifth Olympic gold in the women’s team final.

 

The 42-year-old tennis legend was escorted onto the red carpet prior to the opening ceremony by her family, which included her husband, Alexis Ohanian, and eldest daughter, Olympia. Nevertheless, when she saw her mother on the boat and responded to the Olympic Torch in the cutest way possible. Williams even recorded her enthusiastic reaction when Olympia spotted her.

Following that, Olympia screamed, “There’s mommy! I see Mommy. Mommy, wave at me!” Olympia screamed. The 6-year-old was especially thrilled to witness Nadal hand over the torch to Williams. However, at the same time, the six-year-old tennis legend’s daughter was spotted wearing a Kenyan bracelet, during her time in the Olympics village.

In a video shared by Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian, their seven-year-old daughter, Olympia, was seen proudly wearing a beadwork bracelet. The family is attending the 2024 Olympics in Paris, where Olympia also got pins from other nations, much like her mom. After noticing the bracelet, Kenyan commentator Winnie Njuguna enquired, “Where did she get this wristband? It looks like beadwork of the Kenyan flag.”

Ohanian responded that Olympia received the bracelet from Kenyan players. He explained, “She was so excited to meet them and ask for their pin, and they gave her an even better upgrade with that bracelet!” Engrossed in the spirit of the Games, she participates in the lively custom of exchanging pins in addition to gathering treasured souvenirs from athletes all over the world.
