“Another epic final, Carlos Alcaraz. The classic. Congrats to you and your team on an excellent Olympic Games. Considering your age, energy, and the way you play, you probably have 20 more Olympics ahead of you. Your gold will come. Until next time, buddy,” said the 24-time Grand Slam winner on his official social media account.
In his fifth Olympic appearance, Djokovic clinched the Olympic gold medal, completing the Golden Slam, the four majors, and the top spot on the podium, joining Andre Agassi, Steffi Graf, Rafael Nadal, and Serena Williams, the only ones so far with these achievements.
