The LPGA star also wanted to seize every opportunity she could to play for her country. be it at the Solheim Cup or the Olympics in Tokyo. Lexi did go on to play at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. She went on to place 33rd while her fellow American Nelly Korda won the gold. No doubt, Lexi will be looking forward to performing better at the next Olympics.
Thompson also opened up about her long-term goal and said, “hopefully be in the Hall of Fame.” Lexi aims to make it to the Hall of Fame alongside legends like Annika Sorenstam and Betsy King.
