While there is no confirmation about the matches Williams would watch, she is likely to be present during the clash between Jessica Pegula and Jessica Bouzas, followed by the one between Jannik Sinner and Christopher O’Connell. Her comeback was also hinted at by Grigor Dimitrov ahead of the tournament. Speaking at a pre tournament conference, the Bulgarian star said, “They (Serena and Venus) are amazing so…I still hope I see them in New York, they are coming at some point so…” But the US Open is not the only major venue where the 42-year-old has recently visited.
The former American pro was also spotted at the Paris Olympics this year. Before that, she was seen at other tournaments like the French Open in 2023 and the Miami Open in 2024. Interestingly, Williams is returning to the US Open with a remarkable fashion partnership as well.

Serena Williams celebrates 25th Anniversary of US Open victory with a fashion statement
Serena Williams’ rise to the top started in 1999 when she clinched her first title at the US Open. When she bade adieu to tennis in 2022, it was also from this venue itself, thereby making the tournament a special place for her.
As the legend celebrates 25 years of her first Grand Slam, she launched a collection of lip glosses and lip liners under her Wyn Beauty brand. Serena launched the brand in April with 10 SKUs including matte lipsticks and tinted SPF. According to the former world no. 1, the goal is to build brand awareness for Wyn, whose tennis ball-green products center around long wear and performance.
